John Petrolino III

John Petrolino is a United States Merchant Marine Officer, the author of two collections of poetry Galleria and Congo Lights and Director of The River Read literary reading series. His poetry, articles and reviews have been published in print and online, to note in Lips, The Journal of New Jersey Poetry, Word Riot.org, Identity Theory, Exit 13, The Idiom Magazine, The Working Tools Magazines, The New Jersey Freemason, The Bradstock Journal and a poem featured in Hampton University's First Year Writing Workbook Text. Petrolino was featured in the 2009 World Spirit Film "Greenwich Village" with Beat Composer David Amram. Petrolino has featured and lectured at many different venues and schools, to note Hampton University, Georgian Court University, Massachusetts Maritime Academy , The Baron Art's Center, Joe Harvard's Rock and Talk, The Dire Reading Series and Northshore Community College.
